do the prices mean? |
The prices
you see on each individual iPod page are flat rate prices for
the replacement of that part including labor, return shipping
to you as well as any applicable taxes. One price takes care of
everything!

I
live outside of Tucson, AZ. Can I ship my iPod to you for repair?
|
Yes. We are
not limited to just helping local customers. Please see the details
section for the address to send your iPod to. Please don't forget
to fill out a repair form. |

I pick up my iPod at POSTNET ? |
At this time, devices may only be dropped off at POSTNET. Once a repair or diagnosis has been completed, we will contact you to talk about next steps. |
How
much do I pay for shipping my iPod back to me?

If you have
your iPod repaired by us and you live outside of Tucson, we will cover the cost of the estimate
and shipping it back via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Customers who live in Tucson will have their iPods/iPhones/Smart Phones dropped off at Simutek unless other arrangements have been made. |
What
if I choose not to have my iPod repaired?

We will be
happy to contact you and set up arrangements for you to get your device back to you. Customers living outside of Tucson will have their iPod/iPhone/Smart Phone mailed back to them via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. |
What
if I don't want you to ship it back?
|
We will be happy to meet with you or ship your device back under certain circumstances. |
How
long do I have to pay?
|
We will hold
onto your iPod for 30 days. After 30 days your iPod will be considered
abandoned and will be disposed of at our discretion unless other arrangements have been made. |
| How
is payment made? |
After your
iPod is repaired, we will contact you by email or phone to arrange payment. You can use
any debit or credit card or cash to pay for repairs. |
| What Smart phones do you repair? |
Our goal with all smart phones is to get them back in working order. There are too many phones to list, (especially for you Blackberry fans) but e-mail us with your brand, model, carrier, (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, etc.) and we will get back to you with a cost and timeframe for the repair. |
| Do
you take Cash? |
We can accept
cash but only when meeting in person to return your iPod. For your
safety, please do not send cash by mail.

| How
long does repair take? |
We will do
our best to get your iPod fixed as soon as possible. If the part
is in stock we can have it fixed same day or next day in most cases.
If your iPod requires parts that are out of stock, we will contact
you and give you an estimate of time.

| Is
there a warranty on the repair? |
Yes. We warranty
internal parts for 90 days. External and cosmetic parts are warranted
for manufacturer defects only. Scratches, dents and other cosmetic
damage is not covered. |
| Do
you sell used iPods? |
Occasionally. We consider selling current model iPods to be a conflict of interest but will sell iPods and iPhones from time to time that are no longer sold by Simutek, The AT&T store, or The Apple Store. |
| I
can't find my specific iPod on your site. How come? |
We usually only list
the iPods we can provide work on. If your iPod is not listed, we
either cannot get parts for it or are unable to perform repair work
on it. Please e-mail us your iPod if you don't see it listed
and we will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible. |
| Do
you provide backup services for iPods? |
Yes. We can
backup your entire music library on DVD. The cost is $39 for the
first 4GB and $15 per DVD (4.5GB) after that. |
